في خطوة جديدة لتعزيز التمكين الاقتصادي للنساء، نفذت مؤسسة الزهراء التنموية (ZDF)
نشاط التمكين الاقتصادي لعدد “37” امرأة من مديريتي ( باقم وقطابر ) بمحافظة صعدة، وذلك ضمن الدفعة الثانية لعام 2024 في مجال تربية الأغنام.
يأتي هذا النشاط ضمن مشروع “توفير سبل العيش والتمكين الاقتصادي وتقديم خدمات متعددة القطاعات عبر المساحة الآمنة للنساء والفتيات”
والذي يهدف إلى تعزيز قدرات النساء لمواجهة التحديات الاقتصادية في المناطق الأكثر فقراً.

وقد حصلت كل مستفيدة على عدد 5 رؤوس من الاغنام ( 4 اناث + 1 ذكر ) ، بالإضافة إلى المعدات والأدوات اللازمة لتربية الأغنام ، مثل المظلات والملح والأعلاف وغيرها ،
وذلك بعد أن خضعت هذة الأغنام للفحص البيطري من قبل الدكتور المختص المعتمد من مكتب الزراعة والري بالمحافظة وذلك لضمان جودتها وصحتها..
حرصت المؤسسة على توفير كافة الخدمات الضرورية للمستفيدات لبدء مشاريعهن الصغيرة، بهدف تحسين أوضاعهن المعيشية وتحقيق النهوض الاقتصادي لهن ولأسرهن، مع مراعاة ملاءمة الأنشطة للبيئة المحلية واحتياجات المستفيدات.

تم تنفيذ هذا النشاط بالتنسيق مع المجلس الأعلى لإدارة وتنسيق الشؤون الإنسانية والتعاون الدولي، وبتمويل من صندوق الأمم المتحدة للسكان (UNFPA) كجزء من الجهود المستمرة لتحسين مستوى المعيشة وتوفير فرص عمل مستدامة في المنطقة.

As a new step towards empowering women economically, Zahra Development Foundation (ZDF) has implemented an economic empowerment activity for 37 women from Baqim and Qataber districts in Saada governorate.
This is part of the second batch for the year 2024 in the field of sheep farming.

This activity comes within the project “Providing livelihoods, economic empowerment, and multi-sectoral services through safe spaces for women and girls,” aiming to enhance women’s capacities to face economic challenges in the poorest areas. Each beneficiary received five sheep (four females and one male), as well as the necessary equipment and tools for sheep farming, such as shades, salt, and fodder. These sheep underwent veterinary examination by a specialized doctor accredited by the governorate’s Ministry of Agriculture and Irrigation to ensure their quality and health.
The foundation was keen to provide all necessary services to beneficiaries to start their small projects, aiming to improve their living conditions and achieve economic advancement for them and their families, while taking into account the suitability of activities to the local environment and the needs of beneficiaries.
This activity was implemented in coordination with (SCMCHA), and funded by the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) as part of ongoing efforts to improve living standards and provide sustainable job opportunities in the region.
